General Lee's Visit
In Leesburg, Virginia, on September the 3rd, 1862, from a window in a big brick
house on King Street, three little girls looked out. An ambulance stopped by a
granite stepping stone and a soldierly figure with both wrists in splints, walked
up the long box bordered brick path and was welcomed.
